Stack
An immersive VR and Mixed Reality anatomy learning platform for Meta Quest. Students walk around a life-size body, isolate any system, and explode structures into their components — multilingual out of the box, deployable in any region. Built for medical schools, universities, and healthcare training institutes.
Why institutions adopt it
| Pain point | What it delivers | |---|---| | Limited cadaver lab hours | Unlimited, repeatable anatomy lab on any Meta Quest headset | | Flat 2D diagrams | True spatial understanding through VR/MR interaction | | Low student engagement | Hands-on exploration students actually use | | Hard to scale online | One headset per student replaces shared physical resources | | English-only learning tools | Multilingual content — deploy in any region | | Expensive bespoke software | Modular platform that grows with your curriculum |
What students can do
- Explore all major body systems — skeletal, muscular, nervous, cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, urinary, and individual organs
- Switch between visualization modes — full body, skeleton, muscles, organs, nervous system, layered anatomy
- Explode any structure into components for inspection, then restore with one gesture
- Grab, rotate, scale, and inspect parts with natural Meta Quest controllers
- Read dynamic labels and educational descriptions in-headset
- Switch between VR and Mixed Reality to teach in a clean lab or overlay anatomy onto the real classroom
- Switch the UI and lesson language at runtime — multilingual is a first-class feature, not an add-on
How it's built
Unity 6 on Meta Quest 2 and Quest 3, with a modular anatomy structure where each body system loads independently. Educational content lives in a JSON content layer, so labels, descriptions, and language packs are content work — not engineering work. Runs fully offline on the headset, optimized for standalone VR performance with mobile-XR rendering workflows throughout.
Built for global, multilingual deployments
Most medical XR products are English-only. Anatomy XR is built with multilingual delivery as a first-class feature — deployable across the Middle East, Asia, Latin America, and Europe, not just English-speaking markets. Adding a new language is a JSON content task, not an engineering task, so a single codebase can serve dozens of regional markets with minimal incremental work.
Bring it to your institution
I work directly with medical schools, universities, healthcare training providers, and ed-tech partners to deploy, customize, and extend Anatomy XR:
- Pilot program — Meta Quest deployment, curriculum mapping, instructor onboarding
- Custom modules and language packs — additional systems, regional languages, or specialty content
- White-label licensing — your branding, your content, our anatomy engine
- Co-development — joint roadmap for specialty training (dental, veterinary, surgical, paramedic)
It pairs with Medical Emergency XR Simulation and the specialist MuscleLab XR forearm anatomy module to form a complete medical XR education suite — full-body anatomy, focused musculoskeletal detail, and procedural emergency rehearsal.
Roadmap — what's coming next
- AI anatomy tutor — conversational guidance and on-demand Q&A
- Voice narration for accessibility and structured lessons
- Quiz and assessment system with progress tracking
- Guided lesson mode — educators author step-by-step lessons
- Classroom multiplayer — students and instructor share the same VR space
- Hand tracking for controller-free anatomy learning
- Teacher presentation mode with broadcast and annotation tools
- Clinical training scenarios beyond pure anatomy
FAQ — Does it work on both Meta Quest 2 and Quest 3?
Yes. Optimized for both, with adaptive rendering to maintain stable framerate. Quest 3 unlocks the full Mixed Reality passthrough experience.
FAQ — Can institutions add their own languages?
Yes. All UI text, anatomy labels, and educational content are stored in JSON language packs. Adding a new language is a content workflow, not engineering — ideal for multilingual rollouts in non-English-speaking regions.
FAQ — Can Anatomy XR be white-labelled?
Yes. White-label licensing covers your institution's branding, curriculum, and content running on the Anatomy XR engine.
FAQ — What anatomy systems are included?
Skeletal, muscular, nervous, cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, and urinary systems, plus detailed structures including the brain, spine, rib cage, pelvis, eyes, liver, gallbladder, hands, and legs. Additional systems and specialty modules can be commissioned.
FAQ — Does it require an internet connection?
No. Anatomy XR runs fully offline on Meta Quest — no cloud streaming, no licensing servers. Deployable in classrooms with limited or restricted connectivity.
FAQ — Who is Anatomy XR for?
Medical schools, universities, nursing programs, paramedic training providers, healthcare training institutes, and XR learning labs. Also suited to ed-tech partners and distributors looking to white-label a proven medical XR platform.
